Definitions
Fine Art Paper
Fine art paper is most often acid-free and therefore is suitable for archival
purposes since it addresses the problem of preserving documents for long
periods.
Gallery Wrap
In canvas printing, the term "gallery wrap" refers to an image that appears on the
sides of the frame as well as the front. The image on the sides is either a
continuation or a reflection of the main image, or an otherwise fabricated element
such as a solid color or colors derived from the adjacent image.
HDR Photography
High Dynamic Range, or HDR, is essentially a way of processing photos that
allows for a wider and deeper range of colors. This type of processing makes an
image appear much closer to what the human eye sees as opposed to what your
camera’s sensor allows.
Photo Art
Photo Art is created by starting with a photograph as a basis and, using various editing programs, transforming it into an artistic rendering that creates a painterly style.
Digital Art
Digital Art is created based upon the artist's creativity and imagination. The digital artist starts with an idea and creates an original digital image, and using various digital editing programs, transforms the idea into an original artwork.
